Hello World! I am currently working as a
Senior Software Engineer at S&P Global in the
Portfolio Analytics team. I completed my MS in
Computer Science from the University of California,
Davis, and worked as a
Research Data Analyst-2 at the Center for
Regional Change with
Prof. Catherine Brinkley.
Before
pursuing my Master's, I was a
Research Engineer at MAKERS LAB, Tech
Mahindra Ltd. with my focus being on utilizing
disruptive technologies to provide practical
solutions in the AgriTech domain. Critical thinking,
problem-solving, brainstorming innovative solutions,
and communicating them to colleagues and clients
were a daily part of my job.
My family is a major part of who I am.
I
owe everything to my parents. All my positive traits
and achievements are the reason of their upbringing
and values they have instilled in me. I am where I
am because of them and this portfolio wouldn't be
complete without thanking them.
Work Experience
- Working as a part of the Porfolio Analytics team.
- Building optimized Elasticsearch queries and the highlighting feature for indexed plans.
- Developing functionalities to help users visualize the general plans across cities and counties in California.
- Creating an admin portal to efficiently manage the plans (add/modify/delete/re-index).
- PlanSearch won the Award of Excellence at the 2023 APA SVS Awards.

- Product Owner, Android division of Darpan (whitepaper link), first of its kind solution to promote financial responsibility among farmers. Currently in β-testing, offered to 7000+ farmers across India.
- Lead developer for the android application named Atmanirbhar Krishi (playstore link), for the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India in the AgriTech domain on KISANMITR, the National Digital Platform for Farmers (website link).
- Worked with the COVID-Response team to visualise and compare different virus strains with COVID-19 (link) and also performed molecular docking of various drugs with the COVID-19 virus.
- Developed a platform for the CanSupport Organisation (website link) to help them organize a virtual walkathon (Walk for Life 2021) for the benefit of cancer patients and their families (playstore link).

- Developed a system to predict overheating of transformer-oil and alert user to take measures before any damage is caused to the transformer. System was deployed on the SAP Leonardo Platform.
- Research involved how the temperature of the transformer oil is correlated to the overheating of the transformer. The analysis included many parameters like oil type, viscosity, transformer parameters, etc. Dataset was privately obtained by the company.
- The system achieved an accuracy of 82%.
